Peter Ryan recently joined Water and Sanitation for Africa (WSA) as Associate Programme Director. Based at the organisation’s HQ, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, his particular area of responsibility is sustainability: Peter is seeking to create and join large scale and reach programmes and partnerships to extend and embed state of the art thinking and practise on sustainability in WASH across sub-Saharan Africa.
He is now providing oversight into the Conrad N Hilton Foundation funded Sustainable Water Service Delivery (SWSD) programme in Ghana and into WSA's Burkina Faso element of the multi-country WASHTech programme.
Peter previously was a member of WaterAid’s Policy Team and was Senior Programme Officer at IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre.
