The Rural Water Supply Network (RWSN) discussion forum on Dgroups has two monitoring-related subgroups:
Country-led Monitoring
Target group: Governments and other stakeholders who are striving to improve rural and small towns water supplies with the use of reliable information for decision-making and action. It was set up as a result of the IRC Symposium 2013: Monitoring Sustainable WASH Service Delivery held in Addis Ababa.
Water Point Mapping
This community, moderated by WaterAid, discusses technical, policy and management issues around water point mapping, monitoring and reporting. A particular focus is the use of mobile phone technology to improve data capture.
