IRC has developed a training package on improved governance for decentralised WASH and IWRM services. The package is called WASHIRIKA and is available online and contains a range of presentations, case studies and answers to frequently asked questions on fourteen sub-themes or elements of WASH service delivery.  Learning and knowledge sharing is one of these sub-themes, as it is seen as being crucial for building a vibrant sector that can adapt to change.

Knowledge and up-to-date, evidence-based data help sector actors to take better decisions and make informed choices. 'Sector learning' is about developing the capacity to ask the right questions, to learn from success and failures, and to get the right sort of information, advice or assistance.
