Mrs. Duti explained the reports examined existing management models for rural water service delivery. The study reviewed  trends in rural water supply services, identified  factors that affect sustainable services at scale and also organisational barriers and incentives for adopting a service delivery approach

The Ghana study examined  various service delivery models presently in use; their  strengths, challenges and limitations, as well as the  key actions for achieving more sustainable service.

The occasion was also used to launch the waterservicesthatlast website  to stakeholders in the water and sanitation sector in Ghana. Mrs. Duti observed the website as a contributor  to sector knowledge on new innovation for delivering  sustainable rural water services.
