After 10 years Paul Reiter is stepping down as Executive Director of the International Water Association (IWA). Ger Bergkamp will take over as interim Executive Director until March 2013.

Paul Reiter is stepping down as Executive Director of the International Water Association (IWA) as of 8 December 2012. Ger Bergkamp, who is presently the IWA Director of Regions and Programs, will take over as interim Executive Director until March 2013. Applications for a new Executive Director are open until 4 December 2012.
Mr. Reiter led IWA for 10 years. He will remain at IWA to lead a number of initiatives including Cities of the Future.
