It's the weekend and I've been indulging in some random perusal of internet. I came across an inspiring story about Hilmi Quraishi an Indian innovator who is passionate about social change. He has developed mobile phone games to promote HIV/AIDS awareness and safe behaviors among teenagers, and games that focus on Tuburculosis prevention and treatment.

In 2007 Quaraishi won the 'Why Games Matter competition' on Ashoka Changemakers. With support from Microsoft he has scaled up his idea of using mobile phone games to promote health education and raise awareness among mobile phone users in India and Africa: “We can’t always reach communities through formal means,” Quraishi, told Mint, an Indian business newspaper. “We need to have some fun.
