A Sustainability Forum will take place in Ghana this week, focusing on gains made on sustainable services and on WASH partnerships for the future.

Since its inception in 2009, the Triple-S project has worked together with the Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA), partner districts Akatsi, Sunyani West and East Gonja and an increasing number of other organisations to improve water service delivery. This was done mainly through efforts to adopt a service delivery approach, test innovations and build the sector's learning and adaptive capacity, and improve harmonisation and alignment.

On 11 February 2015, the Ministry of Water Resources, Works and Housing (MWRWH), the Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA) and IRC are organising a Sustainability Forum, to highlight gains made on sustainable services and provide a platform for WASH partnerships. The event entitled 'Triple-S in retrospect: shaping the context for WASH sector partnerships at scale' will mark the official closure of the Triple-S Project and introduce emerging initiatives with partners.

It will highlight gains of the Triple-S project, explore emerging issues that need to be collectively addressed and synergies to be built. The Forum will also provide an opportunity to examine what others have done and how to keep momentum on sustainability issues in WASH Service Delivery.
