Laura Schneegans holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aquatic Eco Technology from HZ University of Applied Science, Vlissingen, the Netherlands. She is currently enrolled as a Master Student in International Land and Water Management at Wageningen University and specialises in Sustainable Land Management.
During her study, Laura conducted research in European as well as African countries, with a personal interest in ecological sanitation approaches.
Laura carried out an internship with IRC based in The Hague from June - September 2016. As part of the International Programme she supported the Asia Team with sanitation in cities. Her work entailed the development of a toolbox aimed at supporting the assessment of sanitation conditions in cities around the world.
