| Abstract | The toolkit is aimed at CARE staff involved in the process of HIV/AIDS mainstreaming. It is the second of three toolkits and has been designed to assist programmes/projects to mainstream HIV/AIDS into existing project activities. While it is not specifically focused on water and sanitation, the tools can be useful in water and sanitation projects too. It is set up as a step-by-step guide, and it also contains some supportive material. This supportive material includes discussion guides, which focus on key areas of work, for example agriculture and microfinance, and list issues that may need to be discussed in relation to HIV/AIDS and a particular area of work. |
