Abstract

To address the question of which service delivery processes are linked with better performance assumes significance, the Water and Sanitation Program (WSP), in  partnership with the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation (MDWS), undertook an assessment of processes that drive outcomes in sector performance. A first round of the assessment was undertaken in 2010 which covered 22 districts in 21 states (GoI and WSP 2010), followed by this second round in 2011 which covered 56 districts in 12 states.
